— The company “would create online journals on the topics [columnists such as Maureen Dowd and Thomas Friedman] regularly cover…They would also engage in a web dialog on the issues they cover.”
— Unrestricted access to NYTimes.com archives…this one is slightly unclear.
— Virtual file drawer: Much like its sister site IHT.com already does: store away stories for later reading/use.
— Personalization of front page of NYTimes.com: much like other sites…MyYahoo touch.
–And then, a variety of subscription options, with different packages having different price point, mostly ranging from $1.50 a month to $5 a month. Packages include: “News and Opinion/Editorial Package”; “Opinion/Editorial”; “Culture Package”; “Enhanced Tools Package”; ” Full NYtimes.com Package”; “Fine Living Package”; “News Package”; “News and Sports Package”…
